but one that git me hard was when Bubbles is riding with Mcnulty where he sees the suburbs and nice part of Baltimore and he says " it's a thin line between heaven and here" that one hit me recently on a rewatch

and another is : No one wins. One side just loses more slowly- encapsulates the show more than just about anything else

Prop Joe was one of the best characters. Him doing the impressions on the phone always cracks me up

That was a great scene too. And it’s so true. I think about it driving through downtown here where its a one block difference between NuLu (lots of upscale restaurants and bars) and then the housing projects.

You're right... and that's not the purpose of this thread...

I just rewatched the entire series. I always enjoyed it, but now realize how great it is. Quite possibly the best series ever. Incredible writing, brilliant acting.
