Sure he was. Not directly, as in, he didn't make the call ordering the hit, but he knew dang well what Sarah was planning and did nothing to slow her down, caution her, stop her or anything of the sort. So yeah, he was behind the hit.

No, he wasn't. If he was, he wouldn't have freaked out when he found out, before she got killed. That's a massive reach, all to make Beth seem vindicated. Listen, Taylor...you don't have to post on an LSU message board to try and make this make sense. Spinning horses, dawg. You do you.

That’s what gets me. The hypocrisy.

It’s ok to kill for the ranch but not for an airport? Not for the Indians? Not for freedom from the ranch? Not for a few touristy homes?

Rip and Beth have done way more harm than good compared to most of the antagonists on this show. Yet they get the happy ending because Beth is super girl and Rip is her badass.

The Indians saving their lake from a pipeline by dumping a bunch of pipe into it really sums up this show at this point

I’m not sure if the pipeline company will be able to recover when they find out they need to place another couple hundred feet either

I find myself laughing uncontrollably at random times thinking about Jaime pouring two gallons of milk on his face and looking like a drag queen fighting Beth.

Sheridans stolen cowboys and military valor has peaked with this and lioness. Ive gotta look up the glued on beard scene from the other show.

Dudes dad was a cardiologist in Fart Worth and his family had a gigantic ranch where he could frick around playing cowboy. So fricking classic.

At least we can all go whine like miserable little figgits in the Landman thread now.

I watched about 10 minute of Lioness.

Obviously the title warned me, but I have no interest in a show full of boss bitches.

Sheridan in 1883;

Do you think him and Tim McGraw shared the same glue on beard?

The ending was told to us directly by Rainwater beginning at 0.27.

My final thoughts: I’m sure mine have been said but I ain’t reading through

Sheridan is a narcissistic prick, writing himself like he did Travis was the most douchebag move I’ve ever seen. The 6666s shite was so over the top.

“We know what it takes to put a steak on the table around here ma’m, thank em”

The strip poker, the 6’s and vodka, the 45 mins an episode of spinning and stopping fast on a horse. Go frick yourself

Why the hell would the State AG not have cameras all over every inch of his house, SET UP BY THE STATE!? No way in hell could Beth and Rip killed him in his own home and rode off into the sunset. Unbelievable

Who got the 30 million from the horse sale? Split between Kasey and Beth I guess?

The Indians taking back the ranch was the only logical conclusion many seasons ago. If the Duttons kept it than the status quo remained, but I’ll be damned if it didn’t annoy me seeing them take down everything and chanting and spreading smoke all over a beautiful ranch house. Turn it into a reservation community house or something, don’t tear it down.

What started out as a great show, took a shite after 2 seasons.

The brand meant nothing anymore at the end of the day.

Ugh. I saw where this was going after the first couple of episodes this season and switched over to Landman.

I like Sheridan, but he crapped the bed with this one. I don’t know who he handed over the writing to, but this show fell off hard.

How many Market Equities people did they kill? Like that Company wouldn’t have known what happened and buried the Duttons in legal paperwork for a decade.

What happened to all of the reservation big wigs who were after Rainwater? That plotline disappeared. Missed opportunity.

So Rip still doesn’t know Beth murdered his kid? Now THAT would’ve been an ending. Jamie spills the beans right before Beth kills him and Rip loses it on her. He makes the scene look like they killed each other then rides off to the ranch she bought him and starts over.

Kayce points a gun at a kid and nothing happens to him? WTF? I could care less about him and Monica. I gave up on them when their kid got kidnapped by…. white supremacists. Hahahahaha. What a joke of a plotline.

What a fricking mess this show became.

Interesting fact. Teeter is Michael Landon’s daughter and a better horseman than little Joe by now.

Finally finished this.. not sure if Yellowstone or Game Of Thrones had a bigger faceplant, but they are both in the running.

Do Indian reservations pay any taxes now, at all?

I don't know all of the ins and outs, but I'm a card carry member of the Chickasaw tribe. That is the Winstar Casino. In Oklahoma, they're required to operate as a not for profit. Winstar is profitable, and apparently the repercussions are to pay a fine if you turn a profit. Winstar makes so much money, that the fine is negligible for them, so they pay the fine. The income for the state of Oklahoma is a substantial amount of money so they just kinda allow the nation to turn a profit, and they happily take their "fine" and that's the arrangement. Oklahoma also has an income tax. The winnings you make at winstar are subject to their income taxation. I've also heard rumors that they don't allow you to offset your gains with losses which seems unlikely, but I personally know a couple who owe over $100k in income tax in Oklahoma. So the tribe doesn't pay the taxes, but they make a ton of money off the business customers.

All of the tribes determine how they're going to maintain non profit status. Some tribes issue the "profits" as distributions to the tribe members so every month or annually they get a check distributing the profits. Unfortunately, that isn't my tribe.

There are benefits to tribal registrants. Chickasaw benefits are mostly catered to low income households. But they did pay for a good amount of my college, paid $5k down payment for our first house, they'll pay $3,500 towards a storm shelter, and there is a once in a lifetime agriculture package, as well as an annual supplementation package. I think you get like 14,000 of sod, X number of trees, shrubs and plants. Then annually you can get an additional number of trees, shrubs and plants.

My best guess to your question is no they don't pay taxes.

Died when the 6666 story line hit. I wouldn't call it a missed opportunity; it would have been awful where it was going with the indian version of Beth.

I had forgotten about her. There truly was a worse version of Beth than... well... Beth... on the show. Plus, she was just fugly.
