I can’t take one more wasted scene on fricking Jimmy.
Attractive females chasing him like he’s 90s Brad Pitt is absurd, get the frick out of here!
I hate to say but the whole show has gone down hill since Taylor put himself and his big fancy ranch into the show.
Those scenes are cringey as frick.

Agree with all of you. His ego torpedoed the show. Simultaneously using it to promote new TV series, a Texas ranch for which he is a major investor, and convincing himself that the ratings Yellowstone enjoyed were a result of the audience’s love of show horses and rodeo ultimately ended this gravy train. If he backed his new investments against the value of Yellowstone, he has to be sweating it about now.

I think the ending is going to majorly disappoint. All three of John's children now have children of there own and everyone is wanting away from the ranch. John is going to get killed off, ranch sold, Monica is going to start pegging Jayce, same with the convict dad and the pussy son. Crazy arse Beth is going to ride off with the kid to the city. Going to end with a liberal utopian storyline.

John as the protagonist gave everyone he ever killed a fair chance. He is actually a decent man. Contrast that with every antagonist.

Surely it’s about to get back on the rails soon. You would hope Costner wouldn’t sign onto a project that ends shitty.

I legit fast forward over the horse scenes. They don't move the plot at all.

I seriously don't understand why people like Beth. She treats people (like her assistants) like absolute crap, even when undeserved. Why is that admirable?
It's like, Sheridan's definition of a strong female character is one that puts down everyone around her. That's so dumb.

Yeah I was watching that like WTF. Why isn't he yelling at his mom to GTFO? He's too old for that shite.

You people are insufferable! Who the hell watches a show about a ranch and then complain about horses and cows being in it. Hell, find something else to watch. I mean shite!

Way to oversimplify what I said.
My issue isn't that there are horses and cows in the show. My issue is when the show spends 5-10 minutes on filler scenes filled with horse showing and rodeos.
The scenes don't move the plot and storylines. They are misplaced and are wastes of time.
Sorry, but the show isn't about horses. They shouldn't be the focus.

I think John will end up giving the ranch to the reservation just to keep it from being developed.

That's a good take and would make a lot of sense.

Real cowboys spin their horses in circles and see how far they can slide through the dirt. These city slickers need to start watching something about new York city!

Wagoner Ranch, Pitzer Ranch, King Ranch, 6666 Ranch, and on and on and on all raise cattle but do you know what else is a MAJOR revenue generator for ALL of them? That’s right horses. And especially they ones that go in circles and slid in the dirt.

Bingo……it’s also often times how those ranch cowboys unwind on their little down time.

No one is disputing that horses generate $, even those the TX ranches you listed all have O&G income that make the real money.
It is the fact that him being on a horse has taken up large chucks of the show without adding anything to the show. The storyline about the team John put together appeared in one or two scenes and has since went dead.

Thomas Rainwater has made a point that they could share the land. Very solid theory!
