During the doldrums of COVID, I went into the wilderness with Nicolas Cage (and a band of misfit artisan filmmakers) to produce the master thespian's first Western! Cage plays a retired gunslinger named Colton Briggs, who hunts down some killers with the help of his 12 year old daughter. It's a throwback to classic Westerns like UNFORGIVEN and TRUE GRIT. Really a good time... no 3-D glasses required.
The movie was fully financed and produced by Louisiana-based Intercut Capital, and after we finished shooting it in the Montana desert, we brought it home for post-production. It features an original score by Lafayette native Andrew Morgan Smith. The final color and sound design were crafted in New Orleans by Bradley Greer's Kyotocolor and Apex Post. It's been a labor of love!
was already excited to see it because Nick Cage is awesome, but all that info above makes it even better, can't wait!

The trailer seems very similar.
It's very different from both. The core of the movie is Cage's character's relationship with his daughter.
