Just because it is so shitty it lends itself to comedy doesn't mean that it is saved from being one of the worst films ever made

It is probably one of the worst films ever made, but I think I would the vast majority of the films listed in this thread against it. Most of them speak horribly about us as a society or delivers you, the audience, or the person in charge of the source material the middle finger. Ed Wood though just didn't get it though and didn't base it off of higher material, so it is harmless really.

I think it does. No one is saying its a good movie, but worst films ever made I need to feel as if I was spat in the face. I need to leave the theater pissed off in order for me to consider it.

X Men: Origins
8 Crazy Nights is by far the worst movie I've ever seen.

Here some of my nominations for worst film ever:
North
The Good Son
Flowers in the Attic
Bio-Dome
The Last Airbender
Little Nicky
Heaven's Gate
White Chicks
Anything by Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer
10,000 BC
Ultraviolet
THe Master of Disguise
Highlander 2
Dumb and Dumberer
Superman 3 and 4
Baby Geniuses
Star Trek Generations
And these are just films that I have seen, and am quite sure I could safely put a few more Adam Sandler films on it if I had seen them. These are films with absolutely no redeeming factors to them (aside from special effects on one or two of them and maybe a hot chick or two). They are infuriating, insulting, and make you dumber after seeing them. There's no charm, wit, or soul in any of these. At least with Plan 9, you can see that it has something of a soul in it, and its lack of wit actually gives it some wit (if that makes sense). All these films clearly lack this.

The new Conan. I love Conan, and I was ready to leave the theater thirty seconds into the move. It was the only movie I felt compelled to call people just to tell them how bad it was.

oh man what a shitfest.
original theatrical release of Dune was pretty fricking bad too. longer directors cut was better.

I enjoyed White Chicks myself for what it is.

1.) Battlefield Earth
2.) GI Joe
I can't believe in four pages no one has mentioned any of the Star Wars prequels. They all qualify, and would rank 1,2,and 3 if you counted wasted potential as a major criteria.
