It's worth a watch, but when you finish watching it you'll be disappointed.

most people who didn't like it are the book readers who hate all movies based on books that they've read.
I really liked it because it wasn't just a zombie movie. It was a movie about the search for the cure more so than just a mindless killing.

It's a little different with this situation because it borrowed nothing from the book but the title. It's not that they don't like how it was interpreted on the screen, it's that the book wasn't interpreted at all.

Yeah I didn't read the book, but from what I've heard outside of the name and it being about zombies it didn't have anything to do with the book. Heard the zombies didn't even run in the book.

I thought the interpretation of zombies made the whole idea of a zombie apocalypse more absurd than my imagination could withstand.. I still watched and enjoyed but the movie entered into a more alien invasion realm than a zombie flick.
