Yeah, Dennis consistently says some pretty moronic stuff. They are all pretty incompetent and unaware that they are incompetent. Except Frank for some reason has a knack for making money, but that's really just more of an ex machina to justify all the dumb shite they do on the show.

Frank enjoys going into dark places that others wouldn't. In business and married life, that meant firing people and running sweatshops which rewarded him with a seemingly endless about amount of plot money.

Well Frank also ran a hedge fund. The warthog was very well respected in the M&A investment banking community. His business ventures are more than just a sweat shop or wolf cola.
