DC knows how to make trailers and critical hype. It's actual movie execution they have a hard time with. Hopefully this rights that sinking ship

That 96% "fresh" Rotten Tomatoes score is great, but I'm more impressed with (as of now) that 7.8/10 average critic ranking. That puts it just below Logan (7.9/10), The Avengers (8/10), The Dark Knight Rises (8/10), Superman: The Movie (8/10) and The Dark Knight (8.6/10) among the all-time best reviewed comic book superhero movies. Come what may, that's a better quality barometer than the percentage of critics who gave the movie at least a 6/10 score.

The Dark Knight Rises (8/10)

Nonsense! Reading this board for the past five years, you'd think The Dark Knight Rises was among the worst comic book movies ever made!

Can any bored M/TV posters get a list of all the critics that gave ghostbusters great reviews.... So I can know who to not fricking listen to for these reviews?

I'm all for the strong female hero movie, but If you were blind with feminism to not see how bad that movie was, then I dont trust you

That movie was bad. Very bad.

I have high hopes for this movie. The animated WW movie is very good and I would like to see DC do well with one of their pictures.

first reports from the screening say that it's good.

I really doubt this. It looks like garbage.

I haven't been able to muster any enthusiasm at all. What on this blue/green orb possessed them to place the story during WORLD WAR ONE!?

The animated movie did a good job with the material and the story worked very well I thought.

1. How many blockbuster movies have taken place in World War II as opposed to World War I? It's something new and different.

2. World War I is currently going through its 100th anniversary celebration.

You were literally the first response in this thread. You called it "garbage" before anyone had a chance to say that it will be great. The responses after your post were hoping that the movie would be mediocre to good.

It would probably help to have a Stan Lee cameo?

It gives them plausible deniability that they copied CA:TFA. Sounds like the movie will be good though.

Wonder Woman has similar origIns as Captain America though. I think the only real reason they're having this take place in WWI and not II is that movie.
