Watched it as a kid. I thought it was awesome then but that was 30 plus years ago. Doesn't it have nudey bits in it?

Hell yeah!

Ralph B was awesome. I remember when this was playing in Baton Rouge and the local radio station had a commercial "trailer" for it that they would play all the time.

I was too young to go see it myself, (10 years old in 77) and couldn't talk my parents in to taking me.

I finally got to see it on HBO many years later. Such a great, weird, creative visual movie. And I can see why my parents wouldn't take me at 10 LOL. Princess Elinore

Loved it. Hammill's first film I believe. Some interesting character actors in there.

The designs are stolen from Vaughn Bode, but that's just Bakshi.

BTW, Fritz the Cat is on Amazon Prime right now.

I watched this dozens of times as a small kid at my cousin's house. He had a betamax copy of it in the days before video rental. Loved it, though it definitely has a strong hippy dippy influence.

Avatar's "solution" to his brother's power was awesome, Indiana Jones before Indiana Jones.

The still art for the flashbacks was done by comic artist Mike Ploog. Some great stuff.

I don't do anything harder than alcohol, just never cared to try illegal stuff.

But this movie, Heavy Metal, and Pink Floyd the Wall are movies I'd be tempted to watch while stoned on some good weed.

same place , same story. people actually standing in line outside smoking weed. The 70s were a great time to be alive.
