I read the books because my wife and her family were always talking about it. I must say the 4 books were probably some of the worst pieces of literature ever written. The story never flowed and it seemed like the writer had no clue what she wanted to do with the story. The last book was the worst.

Twilight would have been much better as a porno.

bullshite, are you really comparing Twilight to Shakespeare? Every parent should pray their daughter does not fall into some harmful relationship like is portrayed in this series. The girl is so torn up that she acts like fool over a boy.

My wife and daughter basically recited a synopsis of the books for me, while on a long car trip.
I don't get the hate... it sounded fairly entertaining to me.
True, its basically "Vampires and Werewolves for Chicks" when they put it into a movie, but the lore and story sounded entertaining to me... at least as it was recited to me.
