Is it because it's already licensed to Hulu? Also doesn't disney own a majority of Hulu now? Why not shutter that and absorb it rather than have it compete with Disney+

TIA

Hulu and Disney + are being marketed to two different audiences.

I was reading how certain marvel movies aren’t on it yet because they have to wait for the contracts to end with Netflix. I’d assume it’s something similar with Lost on Hulu. Although, I don’t see any other abc shows on Disney plus

Lost was produced in part by Disney-ABC and was distributed by Buena Vista, so it could eventually show up on Disney Plus. But since it's already on Hulu, they'd have no rush to add it to D+. They have Runaways on both, but that's so they can have every Marvel property possible on D+.

You can pay one monthly fee for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ as a bundle for $12.99.

I think the only ABC show I saw was agent carter. I think they’re trying to keep disney + a family friendly app and keep the other content on Hulu.

I'll sign up for that bundle as soon as its a Hulu where more than one person can watch and it doesn't contain ads.

Hulus packages make no sense. There is a 5.99 one where you pay for the right to watch ads. and then an expensive one where you get to watch live tv (a completely different thing) and watch no ads.

One should be Netflix and one should be YoutubeTV.

I signed up for the Bundle today. I already had Hulu Live + No ads. They are applying a discount to both Disney+ and my Hulu Live account. Pretty sure it would work with just Hulu - no ads subscription too. See below.

No. That only gets you what is specifically on ESPN+. To get the channels shown on cable, you will still need some type of cable or live streaming subscription.

There is also a $12 one with no live tv and no ads.
