Why Hank? Why? Peggy Hill Hatred Thread

Just burned through most of the episodes on Netflix the last month and dear god, I hate me some Peggy Hill.
The funny thing is, I didn't mind her during the original run of the show. people always hate on her, but initially she didn't bother me.
Maybe in small doses I can take her, but when marathoning the show it becomes quite obvious how horrible she is.
Why did Hank hit that and how was he able to deal with her attitude?
They should have killer her here and given Hank a hot wife.

Her one redeeming quality is that she is the only woman on TV that is the stupid one in the relationship. Most of the time it's the man who screws everything up.

my brother had a similar experience with his Spanish teacher.
the dude was always high and mighty about his skills and then when they took a class trip to Spain he could barely communicate.

She was the best he could do. Hank is kind of a mediocre guy himself. Not a bad person by any means, but mediocre.
