Does anyone else think Tate will be on the Beck's plane at some point next episode?
That is my prediction as well. The Becks have Tate and tell Dutton they will get him back at the meeting in Jackson Hole- which means Tate is on the sabatoged plane.

Jaime is a wildcard and don’t know what will happen with the baby. No way show ends all happy and jolly.
No matter what I think we are coming back to a Season 3 with John Dutton running the ranch.

Is she really pregnant? She already thinks something is going to happen to her like the reporters kayaking incident. Maybe she is just saying she's preggo to stay alive?

I see no reason John Dutton isn’t running the ranch in season 3. Unless Costner has had enough he will for sure still be the head honcho. Depending upon how far they want to run this thing, a season 3 has already been announced, so they wrap the small storyline of the beck brother up, and we are back to Jenkins and rainwater. Hence the “enemies by Monday” line. Just my prediction. Beck brothers are a short term villain and the real conflict still lies with Jenkins and rainwater.

I go back and forth on how the Tate situation is going to be resolved.
I’ve noticed a lot of similarities between this show and Sons of Anarchy, and I think Taylor Sheridan took a lot of Kurt Sutter’s writing style with him after his stint on that show. All the crazy shite that happens is very similar to Sons.
With that in mind, I can totally see Kayce accidentally detonating the plane not knowing Tate is on it. It’s the final blow for Monica, she leaves him, and he either gets killed going for revenge or ends up a broken man running the ranch just like John did.
Or, they may get Tate back alive with some crazy plan. It’s just really hard to predict how a writer like Sheridan is going to resolve this.

I will be pissed if Rip dies
I have no doubt Rip is going to die in the end. He wil be there till the end because he is one of the best characters.
I just dont think he can survive in the end due to all the bad shite he does
This series reminds me a lot of Ray Donavon. Early, it had some good moments, bad moments and basic moments. As it progresses, its just all bad moments and 700 pounds of drama. There is never even a small break from it.
To a certain extent, these types of shows need small portions of happy times to bring you down. LOST did a great job of that every few episodes. Yellowstone is 100% on the edge now.

i don't think they are going to kill off the kid. They may "think" he was on the plane only to find him at one of the Becks' houses.
I don't mind the "over the top" Beth. It's pretty much the theme of the show. Somebody messes with someone who wears the brand, the get fricked up. Someone messes with a family member, the get fricked up.
I'm with everyone else on Monica tho. Just when the character becomes somewhat likable, they throw in the racist thing. But, they seem to keep finding ways to get her naked. And that's not a bad thing. The boutique scene was straight out of pretty woman. But, having someone like Beth to call in that situation would be pretty cool.

quote:I was reading something that said one of the new cast members coming in for season 3 is Q’orianka Kilcher, who will be playing a character named Angela Blue Thunder. Thunder is said to be a Native American political opponent of Rainwater and upset with his management of the casino.
season 3 has already been announced, so they wrap the small storyline of the beck brother up, and we are back to Jenkins and rainwater.
So we may see him fighting to remain chief.
Speaking of the tribe, does anyone have an idea what tribe(s) are supposed to be on the res? The closest real reservation in Montana would be the Crow, but it is well east.

quote:well i think that it was showing how much power the dutton name has in town. If she didnt listen to her, her shop would be closed down, her husbands practice would go under, etc. They have their hand in everything or knows what strings to pull for anything.
Getting? It’s been over the top since S1E3. The shop Owner would’ve told her to frick right off when she started breaking shite, let alone told her to strip.
They’ve already passed believability with most of Beth’s antics. I’m starting to think she needs another arse whipping to get her in line.

Beth too. I could tolerate her antics a lot better if she'd go soak in the water trough again while we watched.

Binged it all this past week. Rip is the shite.

On a side note, I’ve really found some fantastic country music through this show after a long time of not listening because of the lack of mainstream originality. I already knew some of the big ones like Chris Stapleton (saw him long before he was famous here in Kentucky), Kacey Musgrave, and Jason Isbell. But I’ve really enjoyed personally discovering Whiskey Myers, Ryan Bingham, Tyler Childers, William Prince, and even Kevin Costner’s band.

Finally caught up, this show is incredible. One of the most captivating shows I’ve watched in some time.

My prediction is Monica gets the ranch, then leaves it for the good/ non gambling natives. I hope I’m wrong, but with the PC crap on tv now...
Also, agree that the music is awesome- there is a Spotify channel for the songs.

Need some help. In the first episode when Kayce is bringing Luke back, what does John say to him after handing over the reins? It was something about telling Jamie something, but I can’t make it out.
TIA
