People supporting the Thanos argument generally don't stop and think things over. Killing half of a species that has a low population is very likely to cause them to go extinct. Killing half of a high population species is about as useless as teats on a boar hog.
Sure, for a generation or so they might use less resources, but then the population will rebound and you'll have the same problem all over again. Hell, it will actually be even worse because every advanced civilization is going to be arming up like crazy to prevent this from happening a second time.

I almost said the Dean from Animal House but I thought people would freak out. I mean I was pretty wild in college too but they broke all kinds of rules and definitely deserved to be expelled for what they did at the Homecoming parade

I think every man in the movie, except for the cowboy who just happened to be with his friend at Skinny's place when the friend cut up a whore, is a villain. They gut shot that poor guy. He didn't deserve it.

You're right. Some of them probably memorized the info. I'm sure those guys thought of it as studying.
