I’m pretty sure that was the name. A group of people tasked with completing different things for money. One person was a mole and was tasked with causing them to fail.
It was about 20 years ago.
It was a good show until they started doing it all celebrity seasons.

I watched the first season. But about the only thing that I can remember about it is that Anderson Cooper was a douche, even before he was all that famous.

Yeah, I remember watching it as a kid, but all I remember is Anderson Cooper. I don't even remember how the mole was revealed.

Me either. I do remember it being better than a lot of the reality shows that were airing at the time, but I can't remember a single contestant, challenge, or anything else.

fact check: true

I think they had a timed event between two people at the end of each episode and you guessed who the mole was or something. If you guessed right then you stayed. If you both guessed right then whoever finished first stayed. Something like that.

I remember the name of the show but never watched it. And, yes, Anderson Cooper has always been an elitist prick.

I go back all the way to Channel 1 with him. Lisa Ling and Damien Fahey (former mtv VJ) as well.

All I really remember about Channel 1 besides some of the anchors that went on to famous was that once they played Metallica "Sad But True" drum line in the background of a story..

Thats how impactful that shite was other than being able to take 15 minutes every morning out of first period to watch it.

It was a great show that I wish they’d bring back. Every season is available free on YouTube. I went back and rewatched during quarantine

I miss that original era of reality shows where they really got creative to do wild shite like this

Joe Schmo was another classic one.

The Bachelor rip-off where they tell all the women that the guy is loaded until the very end where they reveal he’s just a construction worker. They just really went out on a limb back then

The guy's name was Evan, but I can't think of the name of the show.

There was another one called "Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire" around the same time that might as well have had the same concept. It seems like their Millionaire was a fraud too, from what I can remember about the show.

Tv producers back then were just out to try to prove women are all vapid whores apparently

I remember liking the show, but I think I only watched the first season.

I just found out they had 5 seasons, including a celebrity season that Dennis Rodman won.

I have a vague recollection of The Mole and that Kathy Griffin was on it. Was not a regular watcher.

Joe Schmo, mentioned above, was one of the best damned TV projects in the history of America. I loved that show.
