How did QL end?

Basically explains that Sam Beckett never returns to the present/home but is stuck leaping in time. Pretty disheartening to hear the hero has no resolution to his story
Don't forget that Sam went back to tell Al's wife that he was still alive and would eventually come home to her, so she never remarried. (And Al ended up having 4 daughters!) I loved that show.

6 Feet Under, no contest

The Wonder Years
Maybe not unique, but a good ending.

Good call on Dinosaurs actually.
I loved the Scrubs ending.
6 Feet Under may win though. I never watched a minute of that show, but watched the ending before (from this board, actually), and it is fantastic. Wraps everyone up nicely for the audience. Such a cool way to end a show, especially one with the subject matter like 6FU.
Also, I loved Cheers as well. Amazing how something as grand as 11 seasons and 275 episodes of greatness can be ended on such a simple note and have it be absolutely the perfect way to end it ("Sorry, we're closed.").

Coolest thing about TWY is that he didn't get the girl.

there's is one surprise near the end where it turns out Henry Blake didn't die but has just been hiding out in a Seoul massage parlor
the last shot is a happy ending

i've never been so conflicted on an ending. you know he never goes home which sucks, but he spends his lifetime helping others and putting things right which once went wrong. it's kind of noble but his whole existence on the show is.

The end to SledgeHammer! which was made even funnier by the fact they somehow got another season. (It ends with a nuclear bomb going off and destroying all of LA)
To continue naming shows not named yet, I love the end to SportsNight.

The final episode had you believing Frasier was leaving to take a new job in California but he actually flew to Boston to pursue a possible romantic connection. He said goodbye to his dad and Niles and it was really emotional because it was the final episode.
