It's been confirmed by the Collateral screenwriter that this is Frank Martin from the Transporter movies bumping into Vincent and swapping briefcases. I wish Statham would make another Transporter movie.

Collateral is much better film. Training Day is more fun.

I'd go the opposite. Collateral is just a fun, well put together story. Training Day is more memorable for its quotes. Can't go wrong with either.

Is this a serious question? Training day by a mile.

From a storytelling and casting perspective, they are about equal. Collateral is a pretty major technical achievement. It's mostly set at night and was shot on digital when digital wasn't quite ready for this kind of effort. But they made it work.

Tough one but probably TD.

Adding…Slightly, to all:
TD is a better story, more moving parts and things going on, more twists.

Collateral has a cooler more encapsulated feel but more rushed than TD.

They both take part in a day but oddly TD seems much longer starting in the morning until late night while collateral starts in the evening and throughout the night.

There is no better seen in either movie movie than Denzel's " I'm King Kong up in this bitch" speech after Jake shoots him in the arse.
