Where do you rank Michelle Pfeiffer as an actress?

She could have had a bigger career if she wanted. She should have had Julia Roberts' career.

This is her in April. She turned 60 this year.

She was so hot in Grease 2.

But I mean, was she a good actress?

Nobody seems to talk about her when they talk about good female actresses of that era but Pfeiffer was pretty big in the 80's and early 90's.

I mean she was so big, they fricking cast her in Dangerous Minds.

Yeah...she's a H.S. teacher in the inner-city - this model...who apparently doesn't know, don't show or don't care about what's going down in the hood.

I really don't know if she was a good actress, her career is weird.

(yes she was a good Catwoman)

But a lot of her career is just eye-candy.

She gets a ton of props in Hollywood. When anyone analyzes her career, they talk about how she fought to get roles of substance bc the industry wanted her to be just a pretty face.

For the record, she should have won the Oscar for either Dangerous Liaisons or Fab Baker Boys. Got snubbed for The Age of Innocence.

Shes just great. Will go down as one of the best to never win an Oscar.

No she wouldn't. Roberts had the whole "America's Sweetheart" aura and charisma that jumped off the screen.

Pfeifer was more beautiful, but she always had a darkness or iciness to her that could never make her a fit for all those hit Rom comes. I prefer Pfeifer as an actress and actually think she's better than Roberts, but she was not made for those light films.

Pfeifer has had damn near a 40-year career, it helps that she still has some of her looks, she was so unique, but Roberts was the biggest movie star in the world for a few years,

Pfeifer though has still had one of the better female actress careers. Most are chewed up and gone from Hollywood after 35.

You know, Pacino and she did a really good Frankie and Johnny (or something like that) flick long after Scarface. It was good, it really was. She was a waitress and he was a cook.

She’s been robbed of a couple of oscars.

So way back when the internet was just starting up big a guy I knew did a fan webpage of her and she found it one night and reached out to him to thank him.

He said she was very gracious and humbled and tickled that she was on the internet with her own web page. He said she had some of her girlfriends there with her and he talked her through uploading some pics to send to him that he posted. That had to be around ‘93-‘94 or so. Dial up like 28 speed or so ... when we had our meeting in Seattle that year he was the star because he had talked to her - and he was a real geek.

She is evidently a really nice person that has always shunned the spotlight.
