John Adams-

Should be a crime that any HS student not watch this before they graduate. It so put things into perspective of the why and how things happened and brings it to the ground level. These "rich" Founders could have just very well gone along and kept making money, yet the risked their lives, their familie's lies and all they would ever have to take on the most powerful nation on the planet of the day.

Why go through all that fuss? The series explains why.

Apollo 13 does a great job of telling that story and showing how great NASA was during that time.

But The Right Stuff would be my #1 pick.

John Adams episode with shot heard round the world
The Patriot
Cold Mountain
Great Gatsby
Pearl Harbor
13 Days
Flight 93

I know I know I know… Pearl Harbor is horribly inaccurate. But for young eyes, it is entertaining and hits on Battle of Britain, PH, and Doolittle. It also humanizes the war
