The Original "Town that Dreaded Sundown"

LINK

I was a kid in 1976 when this movie was release. I was also one of those first generations people to get cable TV where unedited movies with no commercials. My parents were not at home when this film came on and I was alone at night watching a type of movie I shouldn't have. It was about a serial killer that wore a white bag as a mask and I remember the end of the movie saying the killer was never caught and that scared the living shite out of me as this film was based on true events.

I'm in my mid 50's and still don't want any part of it.

The sister Zelda fricked me up the most.

Around the time Pet Sematary came out I had an aunt that was dying of cancer. Towards the end she was around seventy pounds and looked a lot like Zelda. I still can't watch that movie.

+1 This damn movie messed me up too.

1) Anytime the TV went to static (before cable etc), I'd run the hell out of the room.

2) Whenever I go into my parents room, I'd stare at the spot above the headboard and was sure something was watching.

Did you see the remake?

I enjoyed it, also that movie always reminded of Jason in Friday the 13th part 2

Alien/Aliens

The end of Superman III where that lady gets turned into a robot. Freaky and frightening.
