I accidentally stumbled onto the set of Planet of the Apes when they were filming in Nola. The overgrown look of the buildings was eerie to say the least

Done this twice. Awesome scenery.

Also was riding four wheelers in the bonnet carre spillway and we came up on the church set for true detective. It was gone a few weeks later

I've probably been to a bunch , unknowingly, but actually going to visit a movie site? The only one that comes to mind is A Christmas Story house in Cleveland.

The bridge and waterfall where King Arthur met Sir Lancelot in Excalibur. The wooden bridge, which was in an Irish park, was built specifically because of the waterfall.

Several places in Savannah where Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil was filmed. Also had the privilege of having dinner with John Berendt when I was a grad student and still have my signed copy of the book.

The Rocky Steps In Philly.

The bridge from the marriage scene in natural born killers. The bridge has been in lots of movies including Transformers and The Longest Yard.

Dealy Plaza where JFK was killed was in the movie JFK.
