I'll have to go with the Lord of the Rings, extended editions.

Gone with the Wind - I hate the book
To Kill A Mockingbird - solely due to Gregory Peck

Yep.
It's not a book per se, but the short story that The Shawshank Redemption is based off of. As well as Stand By Me.

Da Vinci Code
no but really, the LOTR's were very well done.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest(I didn't really like the book...though I was pretty young when I read it)
Babe- The movie brings the book to life
Blade Runner(Do Androids Dream of...something. Good book and movie, imo)
Fight Club(I thought the movie flowed a lot better than the novel...if that makes sense)

Jurassic Park. Seeing the dinos on the big screen made it better than the book.

The Silence of the Lambs
The Green Mile
Jurassic Park
