While not on his Mt. Rushmore of movies I thought he was tremendous in "Road to Perdition". The way he says "There are only murderers in this room!" or "I'm glad it's you." were perfect.

I need to check this one out, somehow I've never seen it. I just looked up some reviews and it definitely looks interesting, it certainly has a loaded lineup of actors and actresses

No Newman top 4 can be complete without including, The Hustler, Cool Hand Luke and Butch and Sundance. I mean, that's juat the way it is.

The 4th spot is as tough as it comes.

The Sting, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Hud, etc.

There has to be one "old Newman" film in there, though. So, it's either The Color of Money or Nobody's Fool.

Although I think The Color of Money is a much better picture, I think Newman should have won another Oscar for Nobody's Fool.

So, my list is:

The Hustler
Cool Hand Luke
Butch and Sundance
Nobody's Fool

Butch Cassidy
The Sting
The Hustler

Lot of good choices for him though.

I agree.

Honorable Mention ... Cars

I only say that because the kids eventually wondered who the voice was, and I was able to introduce them to a Hollywood Legend.
