As a kid/teenager, i thought he had a pretty funny filmography: Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Waterboy, Big Daddy, Little Nicky, Anger Management, 50 First Dates.
At a certain point I either outgrew his shtick or he started making complete garbage. Either way, I just kinda forgot about him much like Jim Carrey...except Sandler didn’t turn into a colossal Hollywood douche.
