I caught parts of the show a few times before the presidential race was the main news story and it wasn't terrible. Snarky monologue plus quirky Daily Show style bits. It has been pretty rough since Trump became a news story and I expect it to get worse since he became POTUS. She will probably go the Walton & Johnson route and be hard to stomach unless you really like her political view that she's going to shove down your throat. But I think there are a lot of people out there that really hate Trump, so it should do well, especially if we're talking about the ratings standard for TBS.

I've recently started watching this show and to me it is better than Noah's daily show. Bee is smart and funny and her show is entertaining.

I do too but she's not even satirical. I've watched her show a time or two for the hell of it and it was pretty cringey.
It felt like she's going for a "Lewis Black for the SJW crowd" vibe...except she isn't funny with it. Most of the "humor" was her flailing around screaming, "OH MY GOD THIS IS CRAZY ISN'T IT?! JUST LOOK AT THIS?! WHAT THE frick".

Saw the preview for this over and over when The Force Awakens came out and they spoofed it in the ads before the movie. Looked terrible then and that was without me knowing her politics.

And yeah, Oliver is obviously liberal but he isn't afraid to call out someone's shite, even from the Left.
He also does some great pieces that are apolitical and are issues of some assholes taking advantage of other people (debt buyers, doping, auto lenders, etc)

I usually enjoy watching satirical news. I used to watch the Daily Show and Colbert Report every night, but this shite and the Larry Wilmore show that got canceled... eesh. It's not as easy as those guys made it look.
FWIW, her and her husbands tv series "The Detour" is hilarious.

I miss TBS when it was "The Braves Station". It has gone downhill the last 10 years, but that can be said for many tv channels.

If I'm watching TBS I will switch channels during commercial breaks just on the off chance they air a Full Frontal promo. That's how revolting this woman is ro me.

Yep. I know I was younger at the time, but there was a time when I actually enjoyed Walton and Johnson.
