I still don't see how it can work as often as hosts are repurposed for different stories. Lawrence has been Lawrence for 35 years? And all the others MiB and William have met?

The problem is we can't judge time by the age of the hosts. Only their interactions with other people. That's why this is so damn confusing.

We are definitely following two storylines (at least) which need to be connected. The 35 year separation just doesn't seem to work for me.

We have plenty of dialogue about "when the park first opened". None of that describes William's experience.
I'm not saying no completely. We may be talking a few weeks. Maybe William leaves as the MiB arrives?

I agree. Dolores was having her mental break down while speaking with teddy before teddy got recruited to track down Wyatt and was then found by MiB. Dolores then shoots the host who was about to rape her and then ran into william. That is a clear single timeline.

I see now. Missed the context. Agreed. Hosts coming and going has been impossible to understand or follow. I don't try.

That's the sequence of the story we see but not necessarily the sequence Delores follows. Due to the reveries, we can't really trust any set timeline at this point.

Yes, but what about how the same guy being on the train with Delores heading to "the front" AND being killed by the MiB for his blood to keep Teddy alive.

yeah in episode 2 is when delores speaks to mauve. it's literally one scene without any context and could literally be at any time. that kind of tricky shite also pops up

Didn't Lawrence tell the MiB that Delores was off on a search for Wyatt? And we weren't sure how he knew that. Maybe we are looking at two timelines but much closer together. I might be misremembering though.

and when MIB finds Lawrence he's about to be hanged, so that has to come after the William stuff even if it is the same storyline...or there are 2 Lawrence hosts

MIB is with Lawrence and his family. the ops room asks if the main security guy wants to slow him down and he goes "that man gets whatever he wants"
and then MIB says that he was "born here"

fair question. when i rewatched ep1 a few days ago i just took that whole scene like it was not related to anything else in the storylines we see, honestly. even the interactions with teddy seemed like they were apart from everything. also her dad was the abernathy model
i don't know like i said earlier they may be trying to get too cute with the writing and it may just become a mess
