West Wing Best Episode Ranking

I love this show. I remember being in high school when it first came on and sticking with it for all seven seasons. It had its' ups and downs but it remained one of my favorites ever.

Two Cathedrals and The Supremes are my all time favorites. I watch them stand alone fairly often.

The one where they were walking down a hallway having a really fast paced conversation. That one was awesome.

I actually never watched The West Wing. It’s one of those shows that was out when my kids were young, so most of what I watched was animated.
I’m not one to get too pissed when a show has a political agenda. But I always assumed The West Wing was over the top liberal because of Martin Sheen.
On a scale of 1 to 10, ;1 would only trigger hard right snow flakes and 10 is pure propaganda) where would you rank the West Wing ?

Hartsfield’s Landing is the best episode IMO.
The two chess game a going on betweeen Bartlet and Sam and Bartlet and Toby are great. The acting is superb. When Toby starts poking The President about his father, magic happens. Fantastic episode.
ETA : The President and Sam discussing the Chinese Conflict within the episode is great too. The President telling Sam that he will run for President one day is awesome.

I'm quite conservative. The West Wing doesn't bother me at all and is a top 5 show for me. I was probably more partisan (GOP) when I was watching it originally, and it didn't really bother me then either.
Like all Sorkin stuff it's sanctimonious but it's very, very good. Newsroom is a different story - couldn't enjoy it.

I agree with this... after all it is a Democratic/liberal Presidents administration so there will be some ideas/ initiatives maybe you don't agree with ... but put that aside and watch . you'll be glad you did .
