One thing I just remembered is when he would try to contact his wife in the earlier episodes he was still getting her voicemail and leaving messages. How is that possible?

Save a sound file of the wife's voicemail message after they take her in 2014 and have it ready for when they thaw the husband out.

My question after watching is what is going on in the rest of the world? Are Abbies in Europe and Asia as well?

Have people stopped watching this? I thought episode 6 was great and gave tons of insight into what happened. I still feel like there is more to it though.

I watch, find it intriguing. Don't see where it's going to go with so few episodes left though. Everyone else throw in the towel on this one?

I think the week off kind of threw everyone for a loop when it came to this thread. I'm still watching it, and still like it.

Although I did think it was a little crazy that Kate and her husband are now actually fully in on trying to escape. That seemed to come out of nowhere. I wonder if their escape attempt will end up letting abbies into Wayward Pines.

Just caught up. This show is intriguing as hell, but good God are there a ton of what seem to be holes (unless there is a huge twist).

- who kept the fence up for 2000 years? That's a damn long time for electrical equipment.

- the afore-mentioned voicemail.

- the wife also mentions that she found a landline and got hold of Burke's partner/boss.

- fuel-powered cars? How do they get gasoline?

My theory is that everyone running this thing is full of shite and the Abbie deal is a cover for some kind of prison in present time for people that need to go away. I don't care whether this diverges from the books or not (I haven't read and don't know) - there are too many holes otherwise.

- why did the owner of the bar lie about the waitress not working there? Why did he radio in Burke's number? No other resident is acting like that. It doesn't add up to the narrative.

I mean, I can accept jumps in logic and suspension of disbelief. shite, Lost is one of my all time favorite shows. But some of this just makes no sense given the story we are being told.

I'm in til the end regardless.

For that matter, I'll add another one.

- who maintained the grounds? When Pilcher and his team wake up we see an immaculate Wayward Pines with grass cut, homes in perfect condition.

What?

I have given up on it. I liked it at first but I really don't like the direction it has taken.

It's not horrible by any means though, it's a pretty good show.

No you don't. He said it took 2 years just to build the town properly.
