Personally it has grown stale for me, how many serial killers are there in Miami and any scene with Debra is hard to watch. The show is highly repetitive but I think that can be said for any sort of cop show. Despite all of this, I will finish this show.

I've slowly been doing a rewatch. I have found the show is way worse than my original viewing and what I remember. Some of it is pretty bad even early on. I mean I forgot Dexter killed a dude on a cruise ship for gods sake haha.

I do like Batista and they should have kept Doakes around for the length of the series.

I will probably power through S4 and stop after that. No way I will make it through a complete rewatch.

My wife is doing a rewatch of Dexter right now and is on season 7. I'll catch a few episodes with her every now and again, and every time Deb Morgan comes on screen I can't help but comment how shitty of an actress she is. I do enjoy catching the scenes when they are at the fox hole though.

Dexter's sister is easily one of the worst actresses of modern times.

I thought she had one of the best horror movie performances of all time in The Exorcism of Emily Rose but she just doesn't seem to be able play straight

Deb is the worst part of the show. Vocabulary of a 14 year old teenage boy.

Solidly into season 4 and she’s kind of a ho. Does this get any better?

No, jump ship after S4. Pretend that is the end.

That's a long way to go for a show you are already growing tired of in Season 2.

Indeed it was

If you're going to watch a series you have to see it until the end even it becomes a literal dumpster fire of a storyline and that ending was atrocious.

How many serial killers can one man stumble on in one precinct?

Well, the premise of the show was that he took care of killers that got off on technicalities or an inadequate punishment by a corrupt legal system.

So not all the people in his radar were serial killers, but he was due to the number of victims he had killed.

Oh, and just how many NOPD cops do you think would love to see probably dozens of the little hood rats who kill others indiscriminately for "street cred" get their just due????
