TLJ wasn't very good. Most agree there. I'm just waiting for someone to give me something better that would also make sense with TFA and what we know from that movie. All I see is bitching about how terrible Luke's character was and a bunch of ideas that make no sense following TFA.

It wasn't a good story. Was lazy and destroyed Luke Skywalker's legacy in a 40 year anticipated plot.

Well, how it was written. Small example is the tossing of that lightsaber..He could have dropped it at his feet and that would have felt better. He came of as comical when he shouldn't have through poor writing. Luke was broken and had abandoned the force..it felt more like he was on his period.
And things with the film..starting off with your mom jokes to overappeal to a generation,..it was weak. Where it could have been strong.
