There is good in this movie. From a visual standpoint, it’s got style and great effects.
There are some truly funny stuff in the movie.
But man… this movie is deeply frustrating.
Mainly because Murray’s character is too unlikable. He was so unlikable the entire movie falls apart.
Murray has been charming as the sarcastic, subversive protagonist plenty of times. Here though, it reads more as a manic power trip.
The big thing is the move story. Murray does’g deserve Karen Allen in the least and it made no sense why she kept being open to him after he treats her like shite over and over and over again.
I really don’t buy Murray’s change in the end at all. His change is too much out of fear and again, his reaction is still to manic. He should be exuding warmth if the Christmas spirit st this point.

This is one I enjoy each year. Darker adult version with some great lines. First two ghost were great, wish there was a more vocal third ghost. First one was the best.

Frank changed over the years, after Claire, and that's why he had become such a heartless corporate prick.
And all it took was some Christmas ghosts and Clarie staying single and suspiciously hot all these years, on her own, helping the poor, to come back to him and he seeing the error of his ways.

Scrooged is great… I’ll admit you need a few watch throughs to hear the subtle one liners, and little digs, but it’s great. Sorry you don’t get it, but it’s in my top 3…

Love the movie but damn you need a caffeine rush to appreciate it because there’s just so much going on constantly.
