It's difficult to be a trans allegory from the two Wachowski freaks when they stole the idea from a black woman.
Masamune Shirow is a black woman?

there was no deep trans agenda that made them progressive geniuses ahead of their time . How embarrassing

I mean, are you really that surprised that Hollywood wants to make itself seem more important than it actually is?

hey have literally made ONE good movie in their careers. the original matrix is a classic, the 2nd is a mess but a guilty pleasure because the action choreography (for the non CGI fight scenes) is absolutely stellar, and everything else they've done is trash

Agree. The first matrix is fantastic. However, the 2nd and 3rd are both steaming piles of shite. The 2nd came on TV a couple days ago, and i watched a few minutes. It's so horribly acted, and so many of the scenes make zero sense, nor does it tie into anything else within the movie.

Don't know who that is. Sophia Stewart is a black woman.

Yeah, but that long highway chase scene was money. I enjoyed the 2nd one.

3rd was crap.

The entire Merovingian plot line was so nonsensical. Everything about it was cringeworthy at a) the acting b) relevance.

None if it made logical sense, and for such a big chunk of the movie devoted to that side story, it could have been completely left out. It was simply there so they can add the ghost characters, which also had no relevance to the matrix storyline.

The court allowed the lawsuit to move forward in 2005,[53] but Stewart did not attend the hearing. In a 53-page ruling, Judge Margaret Morrow dismissed the case, stating that Stewart and her attorneys "had not entered any evidence to bolster its key claims or demonstrated any striking similarity between her work and the accused directors’ films."[51][54] Despite the ruling, the case became the subject of "Internet legend", with many sources claiming Stewart had actually won the lawsuit

But they did rip off the idea. It's taken from Ghost in the Shell by Masamune Shirow.

Yeah...it was kind of pointless. The only thing it "adds" is the idea of mythological creatures being holdovers from failed previous Matrices...to promote the idea of this all happening before.

Also, so they could give a chick an orgasm with a cake and then make a lipstick not on your lips joke.
