Only listing ones that stand equally on both their animation and strength of story and direction. Haven't seen any of the Miyazaki stuff and haven't seen the old Disney stuff in a long time.

Coraline
Kubo and the Two Strings
Toy Story
Ratatouille
Wall-E
Ghost in the Shell
Akira
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
The Triplets of Belleville
Watership Down

If I'm just running through that list, already a cream of the crop, I'm seeing Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, and The Triplets of Belleville as 3 nearly flawless films.

I love Kubo and TNBC (My GOAT) but are we considering stop-action as animated?

If so, let’s add Coraline and The Corpse Bride

O yea, for sure

I see I'm late, but I think The Secret of Nimh should get a look.
