Very good.

From what I can tell in the trailer, it appears Erickson is on the run. Wonder if he killed Forkbeard's grandson.

It’s got nothing on the OG series but I enjoyed it enough to watch season 2

Still don't understand how a black woman became leader of Kattegat. It makes no geographical sense, so not Earth vikings just a fantasy world with the same name.

Two episodes in. Pretty good.

Hate seeing the old ways disappear though.

Lets remember neither Viking show has been historically correct. So it goes without saying do not watch which some idea that history is being followed here.

Season 2 was actually pretty good. They focused on Harald’s journey to Constantinople, which I’m assuming next season will cover his service to the Emperor as leader of the Varangian guard, as well as the rise of Godwin in England.

I hope they continue on with the series and end with the Battle of Stamford Bridge which is believed to have marked the end of the Viking Age.

Last episode of first season was so brutal, it almost ruined the show for me. They must have had no production budget left by the time they made the final episode. It was so so bad.

Yeah but that scene of Forkbeard arriving with his fleet was money

Season 2 is just cheap. I watched all episodes and was let down. Season 1 was good.

I enjoyed Season 2, wish it was a couple of episodes longer, 8 episodes seems too short.

Interactions between Harald and Leif are good. I figured we would see Harald wrecking shite on Harekr but Freydis handled it.

Liked but didnt love it

Hate unneccesarty plot devices like a viking boat dropping down a 50ft+ waterfall

It really felt rushed at times, like they only had 8 episodes under contract but 10 or 12 worth of material. Really hate season endings without a payoff. When is s3?

Agreed. Overall I liked Season 2 better than Season 1.

With all of the main characters established they were able to just do stuff. I loved the Leif/Harald story line and their journey from Russia to Constantinople because it was just a fun ride. They had a constant stream of obstacles to overcome that they overcame together and there were reasonable costs paid along the way. It also seems to be setting them up for much bigger things in the future.

Freydis wasn't as annoying in season 2 as she was in season 1, but I did find the Jomsvikings disappointing after watching Vinland Saga. Apparently they fell off a lot in 1 generation. Jorunder is Thorkell the Tall's son? Really? BTW anyone that likes these Vikings/Last Kingdom shows about the Danes, should check out Vinland Saga, also on Netflix. It's like if the people behind Attack on Titan did a Vikings show.

I'd say the 2 main complaints for Season 2 of Vikings Valhalla is it felt like they had too many story lines going. I think the English storyline was good and probably sets things in motion for later, but seemed like it was shoehorned into this season.

The other flaw is the scope of season 2 was small. Everything was raiding party size, not epic scale war scenes. It was still enjoyable, but if you were coming for that, it's not in season 2.

Just finished season 2. As a hardcore fan of the OG series, Valhalla just kinda sucks. I don’t care about any of the characters, none have an ounce of the charisma Ragnar, floki, ivar, or even Bjorn had. Season 1 was pretty good but season 2 felt like a chore to get through. It just dosent have the same grit as the original. Not sure if I’ll watch another season
