Vikings Spiiler question

I used to watch this show religiously. I stopped in season 4 and just restarted the end half of season 4. Is it worth watching with Ragnars kids? Or move on to another show

yea i stopped right when they were laying siege to a city and Ragnar had a mortal wound. Id like to know if i should pick back up.

I do not like it as much. I have only seen a few episodes of season 5 and don't go out of my way to see it like I used to. However, it is still very much Vikings in tone and action, it's just missing some of your favorite characters like Ragnar and Rollo and they haven't really replaced them with anyone equally likable. Bjorn is probably the closest to a an adequate replacement but he's always off somewhere else. I'll probably give Season 5 another go when it comes to Amazon.

I've enjoyed it just as much. Ivar is a pretty damn great character.

I'll agree that Ivar is a good character, but he's such a dick that he's not likable like Ragnar and Rollo were. It sucks that none of the other brothers were written to be as strong and likable as Bjorn. But I suppose a stronger character like that would clash with Ivar too much.

I've been dvr'ing and realized that I had 3 new episodes recorded. I still enjoy the show and will catch up, but the Ragnar seasons had me watching every Tuesday night.

The current shows are not as good as Ragnar and Rollo shows, but, it's still worth watching. Little else on.

No one on the show is remotely as cool of a character as Ragnar but that said the quality in the show has not dropped off IMO and is still very interesting from a historical fiction viewpoint. There are like 4+ subplots running right now that are all very interesting (one of which is Floki who's my 2nd favorite character). I still watch regularly because I enjoy it, unlike TWD where I'm just riding it out to find out the conclusion.

Definantly worth watching, hell its my favorite show and I watch it religiously. Still hate that Ragnar is gone, but Ivar the Boneless is an awesome character and just as charismatic

The show struggled after Ragnar's death in Season 4, but Season 5 has be very good so far.
I really enjoy Ivar and Bishop Heahmund.

Yeah I was going to say there was definitely a bit of a hangover post-Ragnar but they've recovered.
