Watched this the other day and knew very little about this classic movie. It was a fantastic movie, the sets were well made, the actors were great, I honestly have nothing bad to say about it.

I believe they kept the sets intact on the island of Malta and you can still visit the seaport village as a tourist attraction today.

One of the very first movies I can remember seeing as a child. I've seen it more times than i can count and it still holds up today.

Some people don't like it because it's a musical, but it's a perfect adaptation. It's a shame I never see it played anywhere on cable.

I despised that movie back in the 80s and haven't watched it since.

Red letter media recently reviewed it. They weren’t very nice to it. I’ve never seen it

I don't think I ever saw it but have the impression that it was regarded as a bit of a box office dud (compared to expectations).

Although being a kid that might have meant I expressed an interest in seeing the movie and one of my parents badmouthed it to deter me.

Paul L. Smith as Bluto was a great villain!

Another underrated classic 80's musical. Reminds me of the first summer of being exposed to HBO.

I like it, but it had an underwhelming ending. Bluto swims away after seeing Popeye beat up an Octopus.

I wanted to see him take the arse-beating he deserved.
