A decent show but certainly nothing special like Simon's other work

Several supporters have said the same recently.

The Creighton semi-cliffhanger does have me anticipating the next episode for the first time all season.

So, can I assume anyone from the LC is an arrogant e-star on a message board somewhere is cyberspace? Because that's about all you really bring to the table. Well, that and your creepy e-skills to stalk women and break up marriages, only to back down like a little bitch when a certain newscaster calls you out.

only when you have objective data to establish this

there is objective evidence on nola

many of the "nola elite" as i call them, refuse to acknowledge many, many objective facts and rely on undefinable subjective "facts" to suck off nola

what the frick?

cauble is the one who dodged me for months after. even when i'd see him irl he'd duck away to avoid me saying hi

I was born in New Orleans, but wasn't raised there. I was excited to watch this show because of that small connection, but I gave up on it too after 3-4 episodes.

I didn't make a conscious effort, but just stopped watching it on my DVR. At first I watched it live, then a day later, now I have all of them saved but don't get excited to watch them.

Oh this should be good. What "attitudes of NO natives" might that be? And please fill me in on how it's only native to New Orleanians please. Don't just spout off useless shite.
the topic is discussed ad nauseam on here. I'm not making a revolutionary statement that requires further discussion.

What?? are you nuts? i know at least 3 people that fit the mold. sure, it may have tapered off a bit the last few years, but right after Katrina people like Zahn's character were a dime a dozen

I know/knew people like that; none were natives, all transplants, mostly from up north.

The show's just too contrived for me. They're just trying too hard to be realistic.

This show just can't win. It is either that or people complain that the show doesn't get every microdetail right. It's funny actually

The people just don't act right. It's like the difference between me getting loaded and horizontal in one way or another or saying "hey, guys I am going to party hard tonight".

I would think that non Nola people would like it better than Nola people.

I'm surprised they couldn't get more local talent to do it right.
