Went back to watch some of the first couple of seasons
Forgot how annoying Dale and Lori were
Don’t really care for Andrea either, although i would have traded places with Shane in that Hyundai with her

I'm doing a full rewatch as well. Around season 3 he became the heart throb all the women like.

Yeah on a binge-watch, season 2 isn't bad at all. It was just waiting between weeks that made it tedious. Season 2 had a lot of great moments in it.
Agreed that Dale, Lori, and Andrea were just as awful as I remember.
Shane was such a great character. That scene with him and Rick was some serious feel. Great job by both actors.

I'm on season 5 right now where Noah just bit the dust. I've actually enjoyed the show even more on this rewatch. Still some incredibly dumb moments and cringe-worthy dialogue, but the show at its peak was an awesome ride.
