TV couples with a king size bed?

Why does film & television insist on perpetuating the lie that a full size mattress is good for 2 grown arse adults?

Me and my gal have been married almost 50 years and have been sleeping, cuddling and screwing in a king size for 47 years. No way we’d even consider a queen much less smaller.

It was forever on TV before couples slept in same bed. Was odd even to me as a kid.
Probably same thinking that pregnant moms never showed until Lucy spit one out.

Wife, 2 year old and me in a queen bed. It's fkn aweful. Love going to a hotel and get to have some actual room.

Same here. Got a king when we were sleeping in the larger bedroom upstairs in our late 60s built house. Moved back downstairs after our second child was born, and we had a Queen in there. Put up with it for a little bit, but eventually went back to a King. I hate when we go visit family and they all have a full or queen bed. Most hotels also offer either a King or two Queens, so when we travel with the kids it is usually a tight fit in a Queen for us.

My wife is tiny and I'm average, but our Queen size gets full thanks to pets. I cannot imagine going smaller and would probably get a king if we weren't living in a 100+ year old house with small bedrooms.

Because film actors and actresses aren't fat as frick as the rest of America?
