Idk about the grandpa but it's pretty clear to me the daughter was molested at some point. The naked dolls, sex drawings and acting out sexually at a young age are all signs of molestation.
Didn't the daughter say the kids at school dared her to draw the pictures?

he's gonna arrange those beer men in a circle molesting another beer person just like the drawings.

I thought the exact same thing when it was happening

this episode was beyond excellent. it was pure genius.
I've liked the preceding episodes before tonight, but they were nothing compared to this one.

Makes sense. Reggie, being close to Beaumont was cooking for the Bikers, but Dora Lange's body was found in Vermilion Parish correct?
I think I'm going to make a Google Maps True Detective Map tomorrow.

Something along those lines. I don't know about her being molested. She has the stripper syndrome though. Daddy didn't give her enough love.

Tuttle might be number two to his cousin, the governor.
I thought about this too. I'm hoping the Yellow King is not the Gov.

Im assuming the present day interviews are happening in one day?
Seems like each guy is interviewed over the course of a day. And that Rust was interviewed first, and then Marty.

Yeah, each episode gets better it seems. And there hasnt been a bad episode so far at all.

How's it out of order? He started cutting the beer cans in earlier episodes and in this episode he made like 6 of them.
If you go back and watch, sometimes he's only had one. Other times he's had two, three, or all of them. There's no continuity, and in a show as meticulous as this, I just don't see that being a production mistake. They're showing his interview out of order. I don't know if that's significant, but it might be.

Pretty sure someone on the subreddit is already doing this.

according to another poster on here, the writer said that Rust is drinking during the interview so anything he says is not admissible in court.
That was me and that's what Nic said on this Inside the episode thing. Totally an "aha" moment.

i think beyond that, that the whole "drunk" image he is giving off is pure bullshite to make himself a cover. he wants them to buy that he's just a sad drunk living in a shack, when in reality he's busting his arse with the case.
I agree with you. He's the "true detective" and won't quit til he gets his man.

No way it is him. If the Gov was a Tall man with scars whose last name was Tuttle, they would have had this figured out a while ago. Too easy.

Yeah that's what she said. It just feels like there's too much attention connecting the daughter with sex from a young age for it not to be something bigger than just acting out for attention.

Anybody rewatched the scene with the guy on the lawn mower at the school? His face was kinda messed up

Yeah, but I have a hard time thinking the King in Yellow is some retard mowing the lawn. Maybe that's the point though, IDK.
