I think this show has reached its highest point so far. I used to watch because I thought it was kind of interesting in a train wreck sort of way and because it was set (albeit loosely) in La. Now its actually pretty good IMO, the characters are interesting, the acting is better, and the story actually seems like its going somewhere.

My thoughts on tonights episode:

Eric is putting on an act and will flirt with whoever he has to in order to keep himself safe. I'm wondering if Hadley has the same powers as Sookie and that's why the queen loves her so much. Eric will maybe start draining Hadley to get the queen to reveal why she wanted Bill to bring her Sookie.

Lorena was draining Sookie as the show ended but I think Alcide and Tara will bust in and Alcide will attack Lorena while Tara gets sookie out of the slave quarter. I'm thinking they will bring her to the hospital...

Is Franklin dead? Tara sure as hell bashed his head in good enough! I was not expecting that.

Sam merlotte and family-I don't care about them at all right now.

Lafayette and Jesus-I agree with Lafayette when he said Jesus was the devil in disguise...I'm not ready to trust Jesus yet.

Jason and Crystal-what is her deal??? I want her to stop being a weirdo. If she's a shifter, she acts like it's a big deal! I mean, hello! Not that big a deal!

Jessica, I want her to be involved in a better storyline.

Pam, SAVE PAM!

Bill, die already!

Russell, kill bill!

Eric, save sookie dammit! and Pam!

Why is Alan Ball dead set on making Eric and Sookie into hating each other? Does AB really want Sookie and Bill together that bad?

Lots of homo this season. Alot happened the last two minutes of the show. From the previews there should be plenty of action next week.

Good episode.

Not sure about Bill and Lorena being imune to sunlight, the only sunlight Bill would have endured was when the door was opened and closed. Lorena could have missed that entirely depending on where she was.

I'm liking the way some of the storylines are developing although there seems to be too many of them.

Never saw the dogfighting angle coming, though looking back it was obvious. I must be slow.

In the preview for next week, Bill was clearly standing in the sun and his burns started going away. I was trying to remember the last time he was in the sun and I think it was right when him and Sookie first started dating. And he charred himself to a crisp and almost died. I'm wondering if all the times he has bitten Sookie since then and taken some of her blood has caused him to start becoming immune to the light and he didn't even know it. Like what if her blood is supernatural that it causes vampires to become immune to sunlight? What if that is why the Queen wants Sookie? The queen already has Sookie's cousin Hadley...maybe Hadley has the same supernatural blood as Sookie? Maybe that is what this is all about...the more humans like Sookie and Hadley that the Queen can acquire, the more she would be able to walk amongst the living? Look at the Queen's "day room" it's the only room we ever get to see when they do a scene at the queen's house...it's like that is the only place the queen wants to be...in the sun! Am I making sense???

This is an angle I haven't thought about. It makes sense though. I guess time will tell.

shite....I just watched the previews again. Does Bill drain Sookie? Looks like Bill feeding on her in the previews. Then they show him crying and saying he cannot take back what he did. Strange twist, if so.

Spoilers I guess:

They're all interested in Sookie because she's a telepath. She can help them in business dealings with humans, weres, etc.

Ready for Eric to kill the King. I wish they would explain how the hierarchy works. Or maybe they have and I just missed it. Because I knew Eric was old but had no idea he was Viking old until last week's episode. Does it simply depend on your age as well as your maker? Because the queen is less powerful and younger than Eric.

Anyone that can clear up the hierarchy would be welcome.

Edited because I don't want to do that anymore. Anyway, she'll live.

There is obviously more to her than telepathy.

Her sex appeal, her "light power", and the chain thing. Now she is dreaming of others with powers like her.

She got powers brah.

I'm sure Hadley (Sookie's cousin) was the one who informed Sophie Anne about Sookie's powers

crazy episode.....so much going on.

I think Franklin is still alive....

Not sure how next week plays out. I think Bill was just dreaming with the sunlight thing. They are famous for putting dreams in the previews.

But looks like the shite hits the fan next week with the Majistrate and Eric & Pam.

I only recall Hadley being in one or two episodes last season and she did inquire to Bill about how Sookie was doing, but I don't remember her dropping any other hints.

She is far more than that. That much is obvious. A telepaths job is to read minds. She's doing way more than her job description. So she's got to either have witch powers, fairy powers, or whatever ever else can make things like that happen.

Far too much homo in this episode. I really like this show but I will have to stop watching, as I did with 6 Feet Under, if this trend continues. There is no reason to show the excessive amount of homo scenes they did in this past episode. I wish they would just imply what was going to happen rather than 2 long scenes of it.

You're making perfect sense. If drinking Sookie's blood allows a Vamp to walk in daylight, it explains why she is so valuable to them.
