and furthermore, this damn show is about SOOOKIE. and we hardly saw her!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRR.

Uh, you do know the show (as in not the books) has more characters in it then just Sookie right? There was plenty of Sookie tonight but it can't be all about her directly all the time.

I'm glad. Her character is fricking retarded. The only thing that makes this show run is the subplots not the fricking love interests with Sookie.

her character was retarded because Bill had her drinking his retarded blood since season 1! I pray to God that since it's been a year, the blood bond has worn off and she can be the Sookie she is in the books. But I won't hold my breath.

Oh, and is Eric a doppleganger for Jesus Christ or what? He was almost crucified on a church alter in season 2. Sookie washes his feet like Mary Magdalene this episode. His maker is GODric....

Just because the guy is no longer jacking it to Sookie and her nonsense he is a bad guy?

I don't want Bill anywhere near Sookie.

yes, I'm just not interested in their stories like I am in the Sookie/Eric story.

Wow, you're excitement and interests just make me want to go watch Curb Your Enthusiasm. Sookie is a weak character with a horrible arc. This show would have been canceled after season 1 if she was the primary focus.

The show is about Vampires merging into society and their struggle with other supernatural beings local struggles in their Area...not a love triangle.

I root every week that Sookie dies and every week I'm disappointed.

Of course, I enjoy True Blood, and never miss an episode... but I really feel that the show needs less characters... and less supernatural characters beyond that.

It doesn't seem like being "special" is "special" when you're in a town where everybody is "special."

There are like three non-supernatural characters in Bon Temps, that I'm aware of.

The concept lends itself to silliness.

For me, True Blood is best when it builds drama. It's hard to do that when the show spends so much time farting around.

Again, I like the show. I just think it could improve in that regard.

you are correct, and AB has actually included more aspects that I think were only lightly touched on in the books. I've read book one and many parts of the other books, so I know that the Sookie we have seen in seasons 1-3 is not the sookie that is in the books. Maybe AB will allow her to be smarter this season and you will like her better.

I will say I'm tired of Hotshot, Jason, and Crystal with her bunch of crazy werepanther meth heads. They've reached Tara levels for me in annoyance and that's not a good thing.

There needs to be more Bill kinging it up. Like Entourage for dead people.

They really should focus on the head vampire lady, Bill, and Eric.

I actually thought Eric stole the show in this episode.

Well then the series would have made a complete break from the books.

"Hi. This is Jason Stackhouse. I can't take you call right now. If this is an emergency dial 9......1..1 and ask for me. Otherwise leave a message."

He might be one of my favorite characters of all time.

I guess they aren't going to keep up the Fairy story line. Which I didn't care for. The 10th and 11th books have been chores to read.

I have never seen an episode before tonight, and I got to say I was entertained. I laughed my arse off at the final scene.

(Damn book spoiler no one wants to see, but people will read. That could give away something, but probably won't because they killed Claudine off and made Fairies ugly and they were the focus of most of the books)

Sookie falls in love with Eric when he looses his memory. Sleeps with him, and never goes back to Bill after.

The last scene with Eric, the way he smiles at Sookie before the credits roll,

The Jason story line is horrible, it needs some help.

Also Bill needs to be in the show more, heck, he IS a main character.
