Darkseid actually does seem like a better fit for a Justice League film. Go with Brainiac in the final one then.

Looks outstanding...love the take.
If I had to nitpick, it's the costume. I get that they wanted to go darker and lose the red underwear, but why not mirror the new Superman comics design?
Having no red in the middle seems kind of weird. Not a deal breaker by any means...just odd to see likely the most iconic superhero's costume changed so drastically.
Can't wait.

looks meh IMO. only way I'll see it is if it gets a +95% on RT. otherwise Snyder can go frick himself.

Yeah, we're used to seeing the red trunks break up all that blue.
Should be interesting to see how the new uniform looks on the big screen.

That's pretty good as well. Supes actually letting loose for the first time in the series.

I've always thought there could be a way where Doomsday was created by Lex or something. That way you'd have the Lex dynamic, but actually with a character than can destroy Superman.
I would do it just like they did it in Superman IV with the sun god because that was really well done

"Meh", such a descriptive and valid criticism.
There is no person who could reasonable look at tha trailer and say "Meh". It is an unquestionably fantastic trailer.
Whether the movie will be is an entirely different story.

It really is underrated. Other than nuclear man scratching superman like a girl, he was a very formidable foe. A pretty Bizarro if you will.
Either bring a new version of him back or go with a combo of Toyman/Braniac.
Darkseid would be terrible.

Looks like they wanted to make it similar to the clothes Jor-EL and Lara wore on Krypton. Do a google image search and you'll see what I mean. Russell Crowe even has a cape like Superman does.
