Explain the plot/storyline to that movie. Some of the YOutube bloggers made it out to be the most beautiful movie of all time.

I don't think disturbing is the word.

i don't remember any real coherent plot

there is a fricked up family and the visitor comes and throws rocks at them randomly

the opening scene is a girl seducing a man, trying to frick him. then you realize she's a hooker. then she eventually sucks the guys dick and he fricks her. and he pays her, and says, "don't tell your mother"

it didn't get much more coherent or nice

the son is like this terror on the family and beats the frick out of the mom

the dad...i forget his deal

the mom gets milked by visitor sucking her tits

i don't really remember many of the details

Man, I read about Visitor Q. What the frick..??

Also, the ending of Pink Flamingos is on youtube. It's pretty fricked up...so much so that I am breaking the link on here so I don't actually post it.

Delete the "delete".

Not safe if you're eating...and I can't tell if it's real or not.

The last part of Visitor Q is on youtube as well. I watched it yesterday as a result of this thread. I think you get a feel for how this whole movie is just from that clip. It's all about rocks to the head and breast feeding with some family time/dismemberment thrown in for kicks. I'm not going to link it but if I remember correctly search 'Visitor Q 10' and you will find it. The conversation and the absolute joy on the faces of the mom and dad as they are sawing through someone is pretty hysterical.

I wouldn't say Blue Velvet is all that disturbing. I've seen it several times. Far more disturbing is an earlier David Lynch movie, Eraserhead. I challenge you to sit through that twice.

Yeah, I've noticed that when reading about some of these movies.

Like I'm sure that some people see these types of movies and try to mold it into some sort of life lessons or some shite. When in actuality, some directors are just fricked in the head and try to push the limits solely for the sake of pushing them.

+1

This brings to mind the song Stinkfist by Tool.

Desensitized to everything.
What became of subtlety?

But if it's set in France and features European actors and directors, it's just art.

I thought it was a decent film. It was certainly over the top, but with the sexuality and the ridiculously self-indulgent references to Frech films of the 1960s, but when you are a famous director in your late 60s or 70s, you can get away with pretty much anything you want

It was weird seeing Michael Pitt act as a fairly straight-laced guy though. It really says something about him, when this is one of the most normal roles he has taken.

no doubt.

The scene i'll never forget is when he fricks the sister in front of the brother....and then shows the blood on his fingers to him. jaw dropped....along with my pants

When I first read that, I thought you said parents' (jaws), instead of pants, and I was wondering why the hell you would watch this movie with your parents

I never saw the James Bond movie that she was in, but it must have been tough for people to see Eva Green in that kind of role after this film. Fortunately for her, this wasn't exactly seen by millions of people in the US.
