Phenomenal trailer. Got me fired up for the movie. It’s almost a copy of the Dark Knight trailer.

Hot Take: Top Gun is one of the most overrated pieces of crap I've ever seen.
The only thing propping that film up is Gen X's nostalgia for it. It was only popular in the first place because TC (and Kilmer to an extent) was at his absolute apex at the time. Nothing really redeeming about it when you watch it now, and the "flying" scenes are laughably bad.
This trailer looks like it's basically the same movie shot in HD for 2019. Hard pass.

I think it's no coincidence you're obsessed with Kurt Russell AND felt the need to drop in.
I do appreciate your fondness for the MCU tho - especially Winter Soldier. Love how that movie is a throwback to political thrillers/espionage films of the 70s.
Russell was better in Bone Tomahawk than literally anything he did in the 80s tho.

Terrible troll, dude. All of the flight footage in Top Gun is actual F-14 Tomcats from a couple of different Navy squadrons. All carrier footage was filmed onboard the Enterprise. Flight operations are real flight ops. Top Gun footage was filmed at NAS Fallon. All of the flying scenes are real, ya clown.
