He's magnificent in Locke and it's just him in a car.

Great great closing scene.
I thought Gandolfini was great but Hardy and the Noomi girl stole the show.

He’s tied with Idris Elba for most overrated.

Six degrees of separation ... Hardy-Noomi in The Drop, Noomi-Elba in Prometheus ... wait, that only took two.

Yes, he ruined the last Next Generation movie.

There's a ton of great movies he's in, but Warrior is still by far my favorite.

The Hardy and Nick Nolte scenes in Warrior

I would say he's awesome too, but I've never understood a single word he's said
This. The Drop is the only thing I've really liked him in and could understand him in.
"Sure you did" is a classic moment.

I always tell people, if you like Hardy and don't watch The Take, you're doing yourself a huge disservice. It's a BBC miniseries that he is chillingly good in.

Mad Max Fury Road was my favorite film of 2015, and while Hardy is great, he wasn’t the one carrying the movie.
Acting and a plot were irrelevant to Fury Road.
The Drop is one of my favorites of the last few years. And Locke is also excellent as mentioned.

He’s good but I can’t say he’s stolen the show in any movie I’ve seen him in.
He stole the scenes he was in in Inception.
It’s arguable that he stole the show in Revenant.

One of my favorite actors now I do think Hardy outclassed Leo in that movie

He was fantastic as the lead in FX's Taboo and I can't wait for its season 2.
Any word on when S2 will air? I agree, the guy is great. I just leave CC on when he has a role

He is my favorite actor. I've seen every thing he has done. As some have mentioned, if you want to see his best acting performance you have to watch Bronson.
Also, every time I watch anything he is in I have to turn the subtitles on. There is no way you can understand every word that Alfie Solomons says without subtitles
Tom Hardy is the dude

He does mumble so well, though . He's also clearly understandable in many of his films.

I just do this whenever British accents feature heavily in a movie/show
