Yes, he ruined the last Next Generation movie.

No, trying to copy Wrath of Khan killed that movie.

It’s arguable that he stole the show in Revenant.

I thought he absolutely stole those too. He gave the greatest performance in that movie. Other than the bear, who was very believable.

Does he have a bad performance?

TDKR

I don't really blame him for it, but Bain was just not at all an interesting character and the movie was a bloated turd.

Tom Hardy

One of the most overrated actors ever on this board IMO.

He's a fine actor, but that's about it.

He’s good but I can’t say he’s stolen the show in any movie I’ve seen him in.

He was better than Leo in The Revenant.

But that wasn't a bad performance by him. Again, just like in Dunkirk, his ability to act with half his face covered was very impressive.

First movie I noticed him in was inception. I thought he added a lot to that movie. He’s a good one for sure

He's freaking amazing in Bronson.

That's one of my favorite acting roles ever.

Agreed. I saw this as soon as it came out and I knew he was destined to be one of the top actors. I enjoyed every second of that movie.

I still need to watch Taboo. Does it compare to anything?

Not really. It's dark, and a period piece. Really good.

Says the guy with one of the most overrated villains ever (Phillips) as his dig. Phillips and his posse rode up like they were a bunch of badasses with their fancy uniforms and then they got shellacked — didn’t pose a threat at all

The Drop is such a great movie. His and Noomi's performances were great. Gandolfini looked sick in that movie.
