When I clicked, I was literally saying "please be Samuel B. Roberts".

I guess my desired dream movie of the Battle of Leyte Gulf will have to wait.

Yeah bruh, 1 movie and a mini-series...that should about cover the greatest war mankind has ever known in its entirety.

He also stars in The Circle for director James Ponsoldt, which also stars Emma Watson

This guy's dad was one of my law professors. I remember him talking about his son and thinking he was exaggerating.

The movie should be on the Samuel B. Roberts....

the DE that fought the Japanese battle fleet at close range and close quarters.

The Samuel B. Roberts captain should have won the CMOH for his actions and his ship's crew actions that day.

There are great written histories of this ship and crew that would make for a good movie.

The battle of course would have to be mostly cgi, but with the Samuel B. Roberts in a toe to toe fight with the Chikuma it could make for an epic film.

It took 2-3 hits from the 14 inch guns of the battleship Kongo to finish the little DE.

he made one movie and 2 mini series about the single most cataclysmic and history altering event in human history. I feel like he can tell a couple more stories about it

Especially when the movie is probably the GOAT ww2 film and one of the mini series is like the greatest thing that the medium of TV has ever produced

Same here. The budget is only $30 million though. They aren't making a Samuel B. Roberts movie anywhere near that cheaply.
