Finally watched this. I thought it was pretty funny overall, but whoever said there were too many celebrities and not enough comedians nailed it. They were funny but nobody really went at JB too hard. The best stuff was them going after each other.
And man I am starting to really fricking hate Kevin Hart. Dude spent the whole show making everything about himself. He couldn't just sit there and laugh at stuff. Instead he had to make some sort of scene or stand up and pretend to freak out or run around like a fricking idiot. Sometimes he can be funny, but overall he's pretty fricking terrible IMO.
I didn't think anybody really just flat out sucked (Ludacris and Chris Di'Lea or whatever came closest though). Everybody had some funny lines. Even Jeff Ross did well, and I usually think he's awful (I'm one of the few that do though...I know he's pretty loved on here).
Pete Davidson and Natasha Leggero killed it. And Martha Stewart did really well too. All in all it was much better than I thought it would be. I just don't think JB as a target was a good call, and it sort of goes against everything I thought the roasts were supposed to be about (even though I know they've changed from what they originally were).

it's more hurtful to make fun of an individual's death then making fun of thousands of peoples' deaths?
yes

so you to would be ok with your friends ducking around you to make fun of the fact that you accidentally blew another friends head off in a hunting accident, assuming this hypothetically happened to you?
if i volunteered to be on a roast show, yes

Just watched the roast, thought it was pretty decent considering the meh roasters. If they would have replaced Martha Stewart, snoop dogg, and Chris delia with Anthony jeselnik, Daniel tosh, and jimmy Kimmel it could have been epic

Martha Stewart had hands down one of the top 2 jokes of the night.

It was definitely better than I thought it would be. It's refreshing to see comedians go for it like a lot of them did since America seems so sensitive these days.
