I quit caring, honestly. Nothing anybody says will convince you until the final credits roll.
People are tired of dealing with you about it. Its been 5 years, man.

If they’re going with that being the moment that changes her life direction and ultimately takes her out of Jimmy’s life and the show in general, and it certainly seems that way, it’s a bit of a stretch
It is a giant stretch and it's not where they're going at all.

Feel free to explain how Kim is written out of the story at this point.
Frankly it seems like they’re setting it up for her to just walk away from it all because of the emotional trauma of the last two episodes, which as I just posted is a bit of a stretch. But that seems to be pretty clearly the path they’re taking us down.
I don’t see any realistic scenario where she’s killed (that would break Jimmy and his entire run in BB as Saul just wouldn’t be believable anymore) or is caught up “behind the scenes” in the BB universe (that would be truly jumping the shark and this show just doesn’t do that).
I fully expect her to be alive in the Gene timeline and then to have a run in in that timeline.

I mean they’re practically beating us over the head with it. Everything from her demeanor to her facial expressions to her voice have dramatically changed over last 60 minutes or so of show time and they’re going out of their way to emphasize it. The “she’s traumatized beyond repair” implication is being laid on heavy.

It's one thing to frick with someone. It's quite another to cause their death.
I don't recall Kim or Jimmy knowing Howard was having marriage trouble. In fact they looked surprised when he told them that at the apartment. Kim certainly did as I remember it.
Also, look at how the two of them were when sitting on the couch. Kim was terrified to the point her body was shaking. Jimmy was obviously scared as well, but not like she was.
On the bed when Mike was telling them what to do, Kim seemed to be the one that thought she would have more trouble acting normal. Her body language was saying that.
She pops smoke some way or another.

And here he is spamming the thread, as usual, after saying he was going to bed and wouldn't be back til next week.
Yes, people are tired of it and tired of half the posts in a BCS thread ending up being from Ham.

You're clearly not paying attention. She still has business on the table that directly connects to Saul.
At least 3 that come immediately to mind. Could probably think of more.
Going to bed for real now. See you next week.

I want to be respectful but its just the same thing over and over. Some general theory Reddit made up during season 1 that Ham co-opted. It could have been a general discussion point/theory, but now its his identity on this board. He can't back track now.
Even if he is right, would anybody seem to think "That Ham Solo is genius. Lets listen to him now." Not one bit.
I rather read a Cocomo 3000 page thread on why Zack Morris used mousse instead of hairspray than read one more salient discussion on J+K=S.
The narcissism for something he didn't author or discover is outright astounding. Even moreso when you actually know the outcome- and he still doesn't budge.
I swear, if Ham Solo takes up Star Wars like he does this show, some nerd may end up whacking him with a homemade lightsaber.

Did I imagine it, or did Jimmy give a tiny smile (smirk) at the end, when it was up close on his face?
Never mind, just went back and watched it. It was a small grimace.

Am I the only one who thought Lalo’s death was slightly disappointing? I knew it would happen but i guess i expected more from it. Nacho and Howards death were done far better.

So, on that note, back to tonight's episode:
It was great to see Gus in action again. Mike - like Lalo - clearly still doesn't know exactly who he's dealing with in Gustavo Fring. Before the season ends, I hope we get some insight into what Don Eladio knew about Gus back in Chile.
Loved the exchange when Mike tries to lecture Gus.
Mike: "This could have gone down a whole lot different."
Gus: "It could have."
That's the old Generalisimo or whatever from Chile talking.
This season's been great at showing Gus vulnerable and nervous. Tonight, got to see him genuinely afraid for his life, and reacting like a caged animal who will survive. At least, he'll survive until he gets too entangled with the smartest dumb guy Hank Schroeder ever knew.

The best part of this episode was the body burying scene for two reasons.
1. Howard and Lalo together. Since the beginning, BCS was split into two parts. The dark drug war side and the much less violent, often lighthearted legal side. That shot is symbolic of them merging. Howard the perfect moral lawyer. Lalo the ruthless drug lord. Together in a grave because of Saul.
2. The fact that Walter and Jesse cook meth over Howard’s dead body throughout Breaking Bad

Janis we a great episode tonight. Definitely had a couple tough suspension f disbelief movements, but I already forgot them because of the intensity of this ep and the great performances. Looking forward to see what they do with these next 5 eps, but sad to know it’s coming to an end.

Finally got a chance to watch the episode at 1AM. It was worth the wait.
Lalo slipping into the laundromat undetected was a little quirky, but it could be explained by his surveillance over the past days or whatever.
I haven't gone back and re-watched the shootout, but I'm guessing it was as expected: Gus kills the lights, grabs the stowed weapon, and shoots Lalo. Only reason I questioned it was the amount of blood covering Lalo seemed excessive for 5-6 rounds fired in the dark while Gus was being fired upon. I was left wondering if Gus had set up some other kind of trap that I missed.
The juxtaposition of Howard and Lalo in the grave was incredibly symbolic of their two worlds colliding. Like someone mentioned above, Kim walking up to Gus' house was reminiscent of Walter going to the young chemist's home in BB. Also of WW going to Gus' home at some point.
Unlike our compadre Ham, I don't have a clue what happens vis-a-vis Saul/Kim/BB. I did note that Kim still continues to know "more" than Jimmy: She drove to Gus' home expecting to get stopped by Mike. She spoke with Gus. She communicated her day's appointments to Mike before arriving in the apartment. At this point, all Jimmy knows is that Lalo came back for him even after Mike basically promised he was dead. Again, that's IIRC. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken. On that line, I don't remember Saul knowing Nacho's fate.
My pure guess, based on the timeline being 4 years pre-BB, is that Kim/Saul recover the Sandpiper money in short order. Howard's suicide should do nothing but accelerate that process. So, within a couple of months, they will have life-altering money. I would expect Kim to want retirement. Or maybe just have different life goals than Saul. Hell, maybe Saul gets caught dipping his pen in someone else's inkwell. Whatever happens, Saul gives his Sandpiper share to her or her company, and he goes full-on into the BB character in order to earn his own stash (having given everything to Kim). We have seen Jimmy/Saul get pretty resourceful when he's desperate, and he still seems to be a long way from the BB caricature we meet 4 years later.
One thing we do know at this point is that every main character from BCS and BB are dead by the time we reach Omaha. Except for Saul. And Jesse. And maybe, maybe Kim. Otherwise, Mike, Gus, Howard, Chuck, Lalo, Hector, Nacho, Walter, Hank--all dead. Gus even kills those on the Mexican side (Don Eladio, et al). I guess the vacuum repairman is still alive (assuming that's who Saul calls), although he's obviously dead IRL.
Did Gus destroy the video? I kept watching for the camera to appear around Gus/Mike, but I didn't see it. Weird that when he ran out of other options, Gus defaulted to telling the brutal, unvarnished truth to Lalo.
Excellent episode as usual. Can't wait for next Monday.

The fact that Lalo failed at bringing evidence of the lab to don Eladio made Howard's death even more meaningless.

It can get messy fast. Single stroke beheadings with heavy swords are the craziest.
